Teaching Pillars

Team Work

Effective team work is at the centre of our teaching pillars as it is vital for the success of a Lion Dance team. The collaboration of the lion and the instruments help depicit the story and create the life-like demonstration of the lion dance. Each position within the team plays a essential feature to the overall performance.

Education

The pursuit for mastery and knowledge is an important pillar to our organisation. By allowing kids to be curious, we allow our students to follow their own path to understanding and defining their own uncapped limits to learning

Courage

Courage is not the absense of fear, but having the strength to triumph over it. We encourage our students to develop courage and work together as a team to overcome their fears. After our lessons, we have found that our students are more willing to participate in activities that they once feared.

Creativity

We help our students develop their own creativity by nurturing their problem solving skills and resourcefulness. Creativity remains an important pillar in our teaching as we believe childrens are the future of our community.
